Guys! You might already know about this website/Instagram account, but if you don’t, you need to follow them ASAP!
This week marks the first week that my daughter is home with me for the summer. I work at a school for special needs and my husband also works full time, so needless to say my daughter goes to daycare Monday-Friday. However, when summer comes and I am off work for a couple months, Madelyn gets pulled from school until the fall.
Before I finished work I found The Busy Toddler on Instagram and immediately started following her. She. Is. Amazing. Her activities for toddlers of all ages are fun, cheap, and educational!
On Monday I decided to choose one of the activities to do with Madelyn. We purchased a little package of colored dots for $1.99 and that was literally all we needed for the color sorting activity since we already had extra computer paper. Color sorting is such a great activity for kiddos because it helps with SO many skills (i.e fine motor, identifying colors, labeling colors, categorization, and concentration to name a few). Madelyn LOVED it!! Plus it was so amazing to see her little brain working!
What do you do to keep your toddler busy?
